Navratri Day 2 – Goddess Brahmacharini rules the second day of Navratri. The goddess walks bare feet and holds a sacred Kamandalu / “Kumbh” in the left hand and a Rudraksha mala (rosary) in the right hand. She symbolizes the unmarried form of Goddess Parvati, who engaged in deep meditation to please Lord Shiva. She personifies loyalty and wisdom and epitomizes love.
